| Poster Type |
Original, vintage, 1971 US one-sheet (measures 27" x 41" / 104cm x 68.8cm) |
| Overall Condition Grade & Details |
Good to Very Good. Original folds but poster has been carefully stored flat. Pinholes, 5 pieces of white conservation grade tape on reverse, a few small scuffs and stains. Approx 1cm piece out at bottom right corner, slight yellowing at foldlines. These flaws are not very noticeable when the poster is displayed, and if this poster was cleaned and linen-backed it would look great. |

| Tagline & Notes |
''Doyle is bad news - but a good cop'; 'The time is just right for an out and out thriller like this'. Hackman is brilliant as hard-nosed cop Popeye Doyle, cocking a snook at his superiors in his obsessive pursuit of the elusive head of a narcotics ring. Famous and much imitated chase sequence and grainy hand-held camerawork add an original slant to the standard policier. |
